Platelet Rich Plasma:

This is a very new method of skin rejuvenation where there is the biostimulation of the cells of the dermis using an injection technique which uses the patient’s own bioactive platelet rich plasma (PRP). The aim of these injections is to stimulate and regenerate aged and damaged skin and subcutaneous tissues.We basically remove around 12mls of blood, centrifuge to remove the red blood cells and are left with Platelet Rich Plasma, which we then re-inject into areas to either rejuvenate or re-volumise.

You can expect slight swelling at the injection sight for several days. A warm feeling may be experienced for 24 - 48 hours. Most patients will require 2-3 treatments one month apart with results starting to show after 2 weeks.
